The Fiano grape originates from the Campania region in Southern Italy. It a historic indigenous dating back to 1240, however it is also believed to be mentioned in Roman times but it impossible to be certain. The grape loves warmer climates and traditionally made quiet rich and textured however can also be made as a lighter more fresher style with bright acidity.
